Theatre Camp For Adults 

(Workshops with a Cocktail Hour)
Sessions Run from 1:00-5:00
Session Fee $22  (includes cocktail and appetizers)

Curious about what goes on at a theatre when you aren’t there? Join us for one of our Theatre Camp for Adults sessions. Spend a Saturday afternoon with us and have some fun. Each session concludes with a cocktail and appetizer social time.

Session One: What? Me? Act? (April 25)
A workshop for the theatrically curious.

Are you curious about how they learn all those lines? We’ll answer that question and more in this hands-on and immersive experience. Geared to the inquisitive patron who may never have stepped on stage (and may not want to!) Learn a few things in a safe and fun environment.

Session Two: If You Can Talk, You Can Sing (May 23)
A workshop for the musically curious.

Do you sing in the car? The shower? In your head? Even if you don’t, we’ll introduce you to the fundamentals of musical theatre in this creative workshop. Geared to the inquisitive patron or budding actor with no or limited musical background who is ready to learn a little music and dance. We’ll do some fun exercises to learn a few fundamentals of performance, learn the music and movement for a fun ensemble number, learn about how to audition, and we’ll finish the session with a Master Class format cocktail hour. Sit back and watch as we work with a couple of experienced singers who have prepped a musical number.

Session Three: Is There Madness in the Method? (June 27)
An exploration of Method Acting.

What does it mean to be a method actor? Using a series of acting exercises, participants will explore the differing branches of the Acting Method. To sense memory, or not to sense memory. Is it in me and pouring out, or is it around me and creeping in? Geared to actors of all levels who want to understand the fundamentals of the iconic acting system of the twentieth century.

How to Up Your Musical Theatre Game

Have you been in the ensemble of a musical or two? Maybe even quite a few. Looking to have the chops to snag more solos? You can do it!. Geared to the musical theatre actor who is interested in learning more about how to up their game. Learn more about fundamental vocal technique, audition hacks, and participate in a series of Master Class sessions evaluating a song you have prepared.
