2003: The Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q opened on Broadway at the John Golden Theatre. The groundbreaking, puppet-led comedy went on to play 2,534 performances and win three Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
1979: The all-Black musical adaptation of Alice in Wonderland, titled But Never Jam Today, opened on Broadway at the Longacre Theatre.
2016: The script for Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is released, coinciding directly with the play’s official stage opening at the Palace Theatre in London.
2004: Dracula, the Musical has its first preview performance on Broadway at the Belasco Theatre.
2002: Fan-favorite actress Roz Ryan begins her tenure stepping into the role of Mama Morton in the long-running revival of Chicago at the Shubert Theatre
