A sharp, witty comedy by Alan Ball that peels back the layers of Southern charm to reveal the secrets, struggles, and unexpected friendships of five very different bridesmaids. Set during a lavish wedding in Knoxville, Tennessee, the play follows these women as they hide out in an upstairs bedroom, each with her own reason for avoiding the reception. As they bond over their shared disdain for the bride, they share laughter, confessions, and moments of raw vulnerability. Hilarious and heartfelt, this play is a celebration of resilience, female camaraderie, and the unexpected connections that change us.

Gavin J. Annette (Tripp Davenport) is excited to break in his wingtips on the boards of the Forst Inn stage once more and share a great story with the community! You may have seen him in past Forst productions such as Young Frankenstein (Igor), Into The Woods (The Baker), and Carrie: The Musical (Billy Nolan). The character of Tripp shares a lot of similarities to Gavin's own history, particularly a life spent looking for a good time and (eventually) that kindred soul who shares his wavelength. Gavin would like to thank Michael for the opportunity to be a part of this journey, his castmates for the unfettered creativity they've put so much into this show (it's been so much fun to work with you), and his partner Jon for his beautiful heart and unwavering support. To the audience: thank you especially for your continued support to the Forst Inn Arts Collective and its participants - we couldn't do what we do without all of you. Enjoy the show! (edited)

Erin LaFond (Georganne) has been seen on stage at the Forst Inn since it reopened and is honored to reprise the role of Georgeanne after performing in 5W back in 2006. Favorite credits include The Last 5 Years (Cathy), Carrie (Margaret White), Putnam County Spelling Bee (Rona), Into the Woods (Baker's Wife), Godspell (Jesus), Young Frankenstein (Elizabeth Benning), Something Rotten (Bea Bottom). Erin sends love and light to all in her support system, her Forst family, and especially to Jeff, Archer, Jasper, and Gary

Paige (Meredith Marlowe) is very excited to be in her first show at the Forst Inn! She'd like to thank her friends Olivia and Kenny for convincing her to audition- otherwise she wouldn't be working with this cast and crew of lovely, talented people! Paige has been featured in other shows in the area, such as The Rocky Horror Show (Birder Players) and Ride the Cyclone (Stage Ten Seventeen). She hopes that you enjoy the performance! :)

Jessica Iannitello (Frances) is back on her hustle and so happy to be in her first show at the Forst this season! You may have seen her last year in the Play that Goes Wrong (Sandra), Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (Honey), Rent (Mimi), or more recently in Masquers’ production of Camelot (Guenevere). Jessica would like to thank Michael for his fearless leadership as usual, and her showmates for the generous sharing of their talents (She’d have liquor with y’all in heaven any day!). She would also like to dedicate this performance to her sister Mary, who was so committed to helping her get into character that she had her own real-life wedding during this run (congrats Mary & Isaac!). Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam!

Deborah Oettinger (Mindy) was born in California to parents who loved to roam and as a result lived on the east coast, west coast and now in the middle. She first fell in love with the stage in 8th grade when she got the lead in a one act play called The Ghost Wore White and is now following her lifelong dream of pursuing acting as her passion and vocation. This role has some great overlaps with her real life, a younger brother named Scott, who's 1st wife she was Not a fan of and she really does sell real estate! (edited)

Emilee Carroll (Trisha) is excited to make her season debut in a show she has loved for many years. You may have seen her at the Forst Inn last season in Steel Magnolias (M’Lynn), Misery (Annie Wilkes) and Young Frankenstein (Frau Blucher). The role of Trisha is very similar to her former outlook on love and life, but since meeting the Tripp of her life (Brandon) she’s been on a more fulfilled path! Big thanks to Michael for all he does for us, my amazing husband Brandon, my supportive family and the community that is the Forst Inn. Final thank you to those who attend - thank you for letting us do what we do! (edited)
