It’s Christmas Eve in 1893 London, and even the season of goodwill can’t stop crime from afoot! Punctuated by seasonal music from our talented ensemble, the Mistletoes, this show will delight audiences of all ages.
When a misplaced hat and an abandoned goose lead to the discovery of a priceless stolen gem, Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson embark on a witty, fast-paced holiday mystery filled with twists, laughter, and Victorian cheer. Adapted by Kevin James Sievert from Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Adventure of the Blue Carbuncle, this festive caper blends classic deduction, heartwarming humanity, and a dash of Dickensian spirit—perfect for audiences seeking a clever, cozy, and delightfully mysterious Christmas tale.

Tessa Komorowski Jindra (Mistletoe) has been a part of Mistletoe Musings since the very beginning. When Michael tossed out the idea nine years ago, she happily joined the adventure that turned into the tradition we know and love today.
While the Sherlock Holmes theme is new for Musings, Tessa is no stranger to the great detective. She is a long time fan of all things Holmes, with The Hound of the Baskervilles being her favorite story. She also has the complete series of BBC’s Sherlock on DVD.
The Forst Inn is more than a venue. It’s a community that inspires creativity, friendship, and unforgettable moments like Mistletoe Musings. She invites you to join the Forst Inn fam and share in the magic.
Happy Holidays!

Logan Lopez (James Ryder) is excited to be in his second production at the Forst Inn and his first time being in the Mistletoe Musings! It brings him great joy to work alongside such a talented cast and he is pleased to return to the stage after a scorching summer preforming for the Bristol Renaissance Faire. You may recognize Logan from his roles as Bobby from the Forst Inn's "Caberet", Mr Hyde from The Mikadow Theatre's "Jekyll & Hyde", Amos Calloway from Peter Quince's "Big Fish", or his debut role as Robert in The Masquers' "Boeing Boeing." Logan would like to mentuon and thank his family, friends, and kind acquaintances who have helped and supported him through this trying year. Please enjoy the show! (edited)

This is Heather Love’s (Eliza Ryder/Countess of Morcar) first time being part of the wonderful annual tradition of “Mistletoe Musings”. She is excited to be involved and once again have the opportunity to be performing on the Forst Inn stage….it’s been way too long! You may have last seen her in “Steel Magnolias” or “Forst Inn Sings” back in 2024. Other favorite shows in her acting history include “Clue”, “Making God Laugh”, “City of Angels”, “A Christmas Story” (which was exciting because she was able to perform with her son!), “Almost, Maine”, “Mom’s Gift”, “Funny Little Thing Called Love”, “Assassins”, and “The Importance of Being Earnest”.
Heather would like to thank her family and close friends for always supporting her, as well as all of you audience members for coming out to see local theatre. The Forst Inn is a magical place, so thank you for joining us in keeping theatre and the arts alive! Now go buy a sweatshirt! Oh, and enjoy the cheesecake!

If Em Schaller (Catherine Cusack) had a shilling for every Sherlock Holmes Christmas Show she’s done, she’d have two shillings, and they were back to back no less!! As a long time Mistletoe Musings fan, Em is thrilled to finally be joining in the fun this year alongside her father, who is playing Holmes himself. Her most recent appearance onstage was as “Aggie Wheeler” in The Game’s Afoot at the Capitol Civic Center with the Masquers, Inc. Some of her previous Forst Inn credits include ensemble in Young Frankenstein, “Lucinda” in Into the Woods, and “Woodstock” in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown.
You may have also seen some of her work here as costume designer for A Doll’s House, Charlie Brown, A Wrinkle in Time (with her mother Sara), and Carrie. When not at the Forst, you can find Em at her day job at library shelving books and Treehouse Theater as their Costume Rental Manager. She would like to thank her parents and friends for their endless love and support and, most importantly, her cats.

Marty Schaller (Sherlock Holmes) is excited to be playing the iconic consulting detective in this year’s Mistletoe Musings show. He relates very well to Sherlock’s dry sense of humor, and appreciates the “fish out of water” aspect of Holmes’ no-nonsense, laser-focused method of solving the mystery in a very festive holiday setting, the sentimentality of which is lost on him.  Marty is delighted to be able to share the stage again with daughter Em in this show, and is very thankful for his supportive wife Sara. He most recently appeared on the Forst Inn stage as Paul Sheldon in Misery last year.
Picture
Michael Sheeks (Henry Baker) appears reluctantly on the Forst Inn stage. He recalls appearing as a reader in the first Mistletoe Musings. Since then he has appeared, again reluctantly, as Michael opposite Margie Diny in I Do! I Do!, as a priest in both Patent Leather Shoes and Tony and Tina's Wedding, and as Egeus in A Midsummer Night's Dream - for which he blames Zach Lulloff. He previously was typecast as Belle's crazy father in Beauty and the Beast in Mankato. There have been other roles, but he prefers to leave them in the fog of memories.
Picture
Sean Stalvey (Mistletoe) is glad to celebrate yet another holiday season with the Mistletoe Musings since joining the group in 2022. Sean may be remembered in previous productions at the Forst Inn notably his performance as Charlie Brown in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” and as Freddy in “Carrie: the Musical”. Outside the Forst Inn, he may be remembered for playing Bruce in UW-Green Bay’s production of “Fun Home” and as the Narrator in UW-Green Bay’s production of “The Rocky Horror Show”. Sean is thankful for this opportunity to sing and spread some holiday cheer year after year, and is hopeful for many more. He hopes you enjoy the show and that you have a wonderful holiday!
