Come and celebrate the imminent end of the winter doldrums with great music, great friends, a feast of your favorite comfort foods.
$20 in advance. $30 at the door.
MUSIC:  Zoofunkyou is a psychedelic stew, seasoned by the blues, served with a healthy dollop of funk and peppered with a blend of latin, cajun, and southern spices. After bringing their quick-witted sonic expressionism and powerful song catalogue to audiences all around the country for the past two years, Zoofunkyou has solidified itself as a consistently tantalizing group to follow. Based in Chicago, their gumbo of finely crafted musical elements is a recipe that they've been working to perfect since 2013 with different ingredients and instrumentalists interspersed along the way. In the current iteration, founder Derek Dare leads a quartet of fearless improvisers, Matthew Coglianese, Jake Hennessy and Bryan Scheinkopf.
MUNCHIES: Your ticket includes a banquet of comfort foods to warm you up after braving another winter. Four varieties of gourmet macaroni and cheese, chili con carne, chocolates, and cheesecake!
SINGLE? Tradition has it that on leap day, ladies are encouraged to propose marriage to the object of their affection. Men who rejected their proposal had to compensate them with a pair of leather gloves, a single rose, $1, and a kiss. So, gentlemen, come prepared for compensation or matrimony!
