The Mistletoes 2022
Phillip Jindra is an original member of Mistletoe Musings and has been in every season since its inception in 2017. You may have seen him recently in Carrie: The Musical playing Stokes. Phillip is happy to be sharing the stage tonight with his talented wife Tessa and good friends. Phillip would like to wish you the best holiday season! Make sure to check out our New Year's event at the Forst Inn and get your tickets for the 2023 season! Phillip will return for more fun!
Tessa Komorowski Jindra is always happy to be back for yet another year of Mistletoe Musings. She has recently been seen on stage here at The Forst Inn as Sue Snell in "Carrie”, Fraulein Kost in "Cabaret", and Tiny in "Anatomy of Gray." Tessa is thrilled to, once again, share the stage with some of her closest friends as well as her husband Phillip. Adding the story of A Christmas Carol has been a fun change to the Classic Musings we all know and love. Tessa has enjoyed adding some new faces to the show and can't wait for everyone to enjoy a new twist on an old classic.
Erin LaFond
Shannon Paige is hopping onto the inn stage again for her 4th time this season after playing Wall in Midsummer, Lulu in Cabaret, and Norma in Carrie. Some of her favorite roles have included Jack's Mother in Into the Woods, Logaine in 25th Annual Putnum County Spelling Bee, and Jeri Neal in The Dixie Swimclub. Here at the inn she also enjoys running the booth, as well her house manager duties. Happy holidays and enjoy the show!
Sean Stalvey is a UW- Green Bay graduate who has earned Bachelor of Arts in Theatre with a Musical Theatre Emphasis and a Dance Minor, concluding his time as an undergraduate performing in UW-Green Bay’s production of “Fun Home” as Bruce. At the Forst Inn, Sean has previously appeared this season as Steve the Great Mage in “She Kills Monsters”, Lysander in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, and most recently performed as Freddy in “Carrie: the Musical''. Sean also performed in the Forst Inn bar production of “Yankee Tavern”. Sean hopes that you are filled with a warm holiday cheer with the Mistletoe Musings: A Christmas Carol!
The Christmas Carol Ensemble
Roger Bennin (Bob Cratchit) has been in numerous performances of A Christmas Carol over the years, usually playing “Old Joe”. This is his first venture as Bob Cratchit. Other Forst Inn shows include Tony and Tina’s Wedding and Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He has also been in numerous Masquers shows (most recently as “the Unexpected Cop” in Clue), and St. John’s Players productions where he played British bachelor, “Alastair Standley” in last summer’s Funny Little Thing Called Love, preparing him (English accent-wise) for this role as Bob Cratchit.
Carrie Counihan (Narrator) is thrilled to be returning for her second season with The Forst Inn! She appeared this season as Mrs. Banks in Barefoot in the Park, Rebekah In Anatomy of Gray and Claire in Proof and last season as Doris in their production of Same Time Next Year, Stella in Streetcar Named Desire and Nicky in Smell of the Kill. Carrie has appeared in various productions & readings with Isadoora Theatre, Rogue Theater (Ann Deever in All My Sons) & the former TAPworks theatre in Door County, WI and worked for Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago. She is so excited to now be part of the Forst Inn family.
Cathy DeLain (Mrs. Cratchet) loves theater, but is normally found offstage. She directed Vanya, Sonia, Masha, and Spike, Becky’s New Car, and Old Love at The Forst Inn. The role of Mrs. Cratchit fit her criteria for acting, which is 12 lines or less. She also knows the story well, being involved in productions of A Christmas Carol in Manitowoc for the past 20 years!
Claran LaViolette (Scrooge) is getting back to her early roots by playing Scrooge in this production, since her first onstage role was also an opposite-gender role (“Howie, the Milkman” in Our Town nearly 20 years ago). Claran has been involved in many Forst Inn shows, mostly as costume designer, and a few as director, but other than playing Grandma in Tony and Tina’s Wedding, and a walk-on role in last year’s Picasso at the Lapin Agile, this is her first acting endeavor at The Forst. She is thrilled to be given the opportunity to play this iconic character. Claran is married to Bob Cratchit, and very pleased to “raise his salary”!
Scott Retzack (Marley and the Ghost of Christmas Present) started his acting career in the Navy in southern California, where he spent 20 years trying to get turbines and compressors to enjoy his acting. Having failed at that, he tried his hand, for 25 years, at applications engineering. Again, a thespian failure, he shifted briefly to land development. After moving to Wisconsin, he discovered the Off Broadway Mecca in Tisch Mills. There, he has found performance nirvana. Since, he has had roles in the likes of Beck’s New Car, Old Love, and now, Christmas Carol. He is terribly excited to have finally found fame and fortune on the world stage. He would like to thank all the little people that have made this all possible.
Marty Schaller (Marley and the Ghost of Christmas Present) is fresh off his most recent turn as Velasco in Forst’s production of Barefoot in the Park. Previous roles at the Forst include “Crutch” in Anatomy of Gray and Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. Marty is mostly retired from a career in health care and enjoys doing theater stuff with wife Sara and daughter Em, golfing, and spending time in AZ during cold WI winters.
Patrick Schamburek (Marley and the Ghost of Christmas Present)is a so excited to be a part of A Christmas Carol on the Forst Inn stage. He was fortunate enough to play the Ghost of Christmas Present in the past and can't wait to share this wonderful story with you today. You may have seen Patrick on the stage, here in Tisch Mills, most recently playing Bruce in Fun Home. He has also been on stage and behind the scenes with The Masquers, UW Manitowoc, and Treehouse Theater. Patrick hopes you enjoy the story and the music you're about to hear. Happy Holidays!
Ash Stokes (Narrator) is a 21 year old young adult with a passion for the performing arts. They have participated in over 40 productions, both onstage and off, over the past 11 years. In the little time they spend outside of the theatre, Ash enjoys reading, learning new instruments, and writing poetry. Currently Ash works as a special education para, but they hope to someday perform on a professional level.
Alyssabeth Wodack (Ghost of Christmas Past and Ghost of Christmas Future) is excited to be making her Forst Inn debut! She is a recent graduate of UW Oshkosh where she studied theatre and French. A few of her favorite credits include Farce of Nature (Jenna), She Kills Monsters (Kaliope), Silent Sky (Annie Cannon), and A Moon for the Misbegotten (Josie). When not onstage, Alyssabeth enjoys hand lettering, making and listening to music, and spending time with friends.
