Meet the Ensemble
Carrie (Counihan) always loves the chance to celebrate the Holidays with the Forst Musings Family and is excited to finish the 2023 season narrating once again. She’s had so many wonderful opportunities at the Forst since joining the gang in 2021 and is so grateful for each of them. Favorite roles include Lady Macbeth in last month’s production of Heavy Metal Macbeth, Stepmother in Into the Woods, Stella in Streetcar Named Desire, and Claire in Proof (all here at the Forst) and Kate Keller in Evergreen’s production of Miracle Worker. Thank you to Michael for providing a theatre home for so many of our region’s artists! Here’s to another great season coming up in 2024.
Shannon (Paige) is honored to be part of this holiday tradition of Mistletoe Musings for the 7th year. Most recent credits include Ross in Macbeth, Joan in Murder in Green Meadow, and Norma in Carrie. The inn is Shannon's second home and she is very thankful for the Forst inn family that Michael has created out here in mayor-free Tisch Mills. She is also very appreciative of him allowing her to express her creativity with her interior design of the lounge. When not at the inn she enjoys listening to podcasts, audiobooks. walks, and spoiling her cat rotten. She hopes you all have a safe holiday with loved ones, and hopes our show kicks off that holiday spirit!
Karter (Mueller) is honored to be narrating this funny, loving, and cheerful show. This is Karter’s first year doing Musings at the Forst, but he was seen throughout the 2023 season in many shows - Schroeder in You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown, Telly in Godspell, and a Phantom in The Rocky Horror Show are a few that you may have caught him in! He hopes you enjoy this show, and it starts your holiday season off cheerful and bright! He wants to thank Michael for the amazing opportunities he presents us all with, and hopes you come back to check out the 2024 season!
Ash Stokes is proud to be back on stage for this year's Musings extravaganza. If you're a Forst regular you may have previously seen him in 'Godspell', 'Rocky Horror', or 'Macbeth'. Ash has also been busy working behind the scenes for a few other companies in the area on shows such as 'The Little Mermaid', 'Winnie The Pooh', and 'The Prom'! Ash would like to thank The Forst Inn for providing a safe space for all actors to be their most authentic self. He hopes you enjoy the show and come back to see what 2024 has in store! Happy Holidays!
Claran LaViolette is delighted to be reprising the role of Scrooge, savoring making both audience and cast members squirm in the early scenes, and later “learning lessons which are working now”. Claran is most noted for being the Inn’s resident costumer and has thoroughly enjoyed costuming this past year’s shows, particularly Into the Woods, Macbeth, and of course, A Christmas Carol. A current Forst Inn Arts Collective board member and part of the Fab Forst Fam, Claran wishes to thank Michael for the opportunities he has given her to expand her theatrical experiences and work with some wonderfully talented people, and looks forward to the thrilling lineup of shows in 2024. Happiest of Holidays to all!
Sam Oswald is full of the holiday spirit and thrilled to be involved in another Forst Inn production! This is Sam’s second go at Mistletoe Musings, as he was privileged to be involved in the 2021 show with the usual suspects of this wonderful holiday tradition at the Forst Inn. Music is everything to Sam, so to be able to spread holiday cheer by singing loud for all to hear makes his heart overflow with joy. It is especially meaningful to him because he gets to share the stage and the music with people that he finds extremely talented and respects on a deeply intrinsic level musically. He hopes that audiences enjoy the show and the music and that the love shared through the beauty and magic of the production keeps everyone warm throughout the cold winter.

Marty (“I’m not dead yet” Schaller) is delighted to once again be performing the roles of Jacob Marley and Ghost of Christmas Present at the Forst. Since his daughter Em got involved in theater a dozen years ago, both Marty and wife Sara have become quite active in the Lakeshore area theater world. In addition to performing, Marty serves as a board member for the Forst Inn Arts Collective and Treehouse Theater. Sara has been most active in costume design for the Forst, Treehouse, and the Masquers Manitowoc. Enjoy the show!
Hannah (Otto) is so very excited to be a part of Mistletoe Musings this year. She has been entranced by the wonderful sounds of these carolers for years and is thrilled to be able to listen every night in the wings. Going from being a witch in Macbeth to portraying the Ghosts of Christmas Past and Christmas Yet to Come has such an excellent way to round out the year. She hopes you enjoy the show, as well as the feline surprise!
Zachary (Eric Glaeser) is a proud member of the Fab Forst Fam and a regular both in the audience (for every show he’s not performing in) and on stage. Recently you might have seen him as Cinderella’s Prince this fall here at the Forst in Into the Woods or as Stine in The City of Angels through The Masquers in Manitowoc this past spring. He hopes to continue to keep doing the things that make him happy and is grateful for each and every one of you coming to support the arts. All of the love in the world to his family and friends, and even the people that don’t care for him all that much. The world could use more love and understanding.
Tessa Komorowski Jindra is from the Manitowoc WI area and has been involved in many productions with Peter Quince Performing Company, Masquers, UW Manitowoc, The Forst Inn, and On the Spot Theater Company. Some of Tessa's stand out roles include “Bakers Wife" In Into the Woods, “Gabby/Bobbi" in City of Angels, “Drowsy” in The Drowsy Chaperone, "Alison Bechdel" in Fun Home, and "Carolyn Symons" in Murder In Green Meadows. Tessa has been with Musings since the beginning and has loved watching the growth of what this holiday tradition has become. She is always happy to join the stage with her good friends and her wonderful husband Phillip. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all!
Roger Bennin is totally gladsome to be playing Bob Cratchit once again, as he just loves sharing the stage (and behind the scenes) with Ebeneezer Scrooge. Roger was most recently seen on the Forst stage as the hen-pecked father of Cinderella in Into the Woods, on the Mikadow stage last summer as Dowling the butler in The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and in St. John’s Players’ summer production of The Bookstore. Roger invites you all to join him as a member of the Fab Forst Fam, and warns you not to tell anyone if you don’t enjoy this show!
Sean Stalvey is honored to be part of Mistletoe Musings once again, having debuted with the group last year. Sean has been active at the Forst Inn for many years, appearing in roles such as Steve the Great Mage in “She Kills Monsters'', Freddy in “Carrie: the Musical, and as Charlie Brown in “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”. Sean is a local of Manitowoc, having his theatrical upbringing with Peter Quince Performing Company. Sean’s perusal of theater lead to his graduation of UW-Green Bay’s Theatre Program, having graduated in 2021 and henceforth been putting his degree to good use by being a regular performer at the Forst Inn and by presenting these comforting and fun jingles and carols in this showing of "Mistletoe Musing’s: A Christmas Carol". Sean hopes you enjoy the show, and find yourself a festive holiday season filled with joy, cheer, and a bit of music to warm the soul in even the coldest of nights.
