Follow eight children during their Catholic elementary and high school education in the 1950s in a roaring musical that captures the funniest aspects of youthful growing pains and the trying moments of adolescence. Meet The Cast...
Kana Coonce (Mike) didn't know what to write for his bio, so he expedited it to St. Genesius. He's very excited to be performing in Patent Leather Shoes. After this, he will be retiring to a remote monastery in the mountains of France.
Ariel Ducat (Sister Monica)
Sam Gretz (Sister Helen) is a Manitowoc native that works at Lincoln High School as a Special Education Aide and has loved performing in theatre since she was 2 years old. Some of her favorite roles have been Annie (Evil Dead the Musical), Morticia (Addams Family the Musical), Toffee (Zombie Prom), and Margot (Legally Blonde the Musical).
Phillip Jindra (Louis, Music Director) is excited to be performing in the Forst Inn's second season. He has been a member of the Forst Inn Arts Collective since its inception in 2017. Phillip has degrees in Theatre Arts and Vocal Music Performance from Lawrence University and completed an internship with Peninsula Players in 2016. He enjoys working on stage as a performer as well as offstage as a director, musician, designer, and occasional critic. He is an active member of The Masquers and has worked with several other local theatre groups. Thanks to Tessa and his family for all their love and support.
Grace Kolb (Nancy) has been acting for 8 years and is excited to be returning to Patent Leather Shoes this Fall.
Erin LaFond (Sister Lee)
Tessa Komorowski (Becky) Tessa Komorowski has been involved in many productions with Peter Quince Performing Company, Masquers, UW Manitowoc, and The Forst Inn. Some of Tessa's favorite roles include “Delilah Strict” in Zombie Prom, “Baker's Wife” in Into the Woods, “Drowsy” in The Drowsy Chaperone and most recently “Olive” in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Tessa has choral directed for Quince's production of Seussical, choreographed for Lutheran High's
production of Annie with her wonderful boyfriend Phillip, Directed Godspell for Quince, and Stage Managed/Tech directed I do I do here at the Forst Inn. Patent Leather Shoes has given Tessa the ability to not only take on the character of Becky but to also add her instrumental background into the mix. She would like to thank all her friends, family, and Phillip Jindra for all their constant love and support

Jeremy Pelegrin (Father O’Reilly) is grateful to return for his 7th show at The Forst Inn, having previously appeared in The Fantasticks, Death of A Salesman, Tony & Tina’s Wedding, Hello Again, November, and Putnam County Spelling Bee. A graduate of the University of WI, Stevens Point, Jeremy lives in Green Bay, where he has performed with Daddy D Productions, Birder Players, St. Norbert Music Theatre, Theatre Z, and Evergreen Productions. Jeremy would like to thank his family and friends for their unconditional love through life’s many unexpected twists and turns.
Katie Sievert (Virginia) was born and raised in the city of Manitowoc when she first found her love for theatre. The 25 year old works full time at her local credit union but does find extra time to do the things she loves. She was featured in many shows such as Legally Blonde, Company, Spring Awakening, Rocky Horror Picture Show and Jesus Christ Superstar! She is also featured in the Forst Inns, Mistletoe Musings.
Kevin James Sievert (Eddie, Choreographer) is an actor, singer and musician based in Wisconsin. Kevin completed a degree from Silver Lake College in Manitowoc, WI in Vocal Performance and Pedagogy. In 2015, Kevin recieved a Region 3 KCACTF Irene Ryan nomination for his role as Beethoven in Dog Sees God: Confessions of a Teenage Blockhead., which allowed him to audition and accept a spot in the highly selective Open Jar Institute, a pre-Broadway college program training actors in the heart of the New York theatre scene. In Fall of 2017, Kevin made his professional theatrical debut at Skylight Music Theatre in Milwaukee, WI in productions of Hot Mikado and Urinetown. He is excited to return to Skylight again in the Winter.
Sean Stalvey (Felix) has previously been in multiple theatre productions at the Forst Inn including “The Glass Menagerie” and “The 39 Steps”. Sean began his interest in theatre in high school and with the Peter Quince Performing Company, playing Flute and Piccolo in the pit orchestras. He started to pursue theatre on-stage at UW-Manitowoc, where he earned the 2018 UW-Manitowoc Fine Arts in Theatre Award. Having graduated with an Associate of Arts and Science Degree at UW-Manitowoc, Sean is currently a student at UW-Green Bay pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Theatre. In his free time, Sean enjoys astronomy and watching movies.
Rachel Ziolkowski (Mary) is a middle school choir teacher in the Green Bay district and director with Green Bay Girl Choir. Her most recent performances were in the St. Norbert Summer Stage production of Singin’ in the Rain, and Green Bay Community Theatre’s With This Ring. She has appeared on the Forst stage as a fill-in for past shows and is so happy to be in her first full production here.
