Riff Raff - Darrick Bruns
Thank you so much for coming to this production of the Rocky Horror Show. This show and venue both hold a special place in my heart. The first job I ever had as a kid was at The Forst Inn bussing tables. This will be my fourth production of the Rocky Horror Show. I've been active in community theatre for quite a while. Some of my favorite roles to date include, but are not limited to: Hamlet, Dracula, Roat, Uncle Louie, Lancelot, and of course, Riff and Frank. I've always wanted to perform Rocky Horror in this space.

This show abounds with spectacle, outrageousness, and excess. "Full of sound and fury" as the character Macbeth would say. Bringing all of that extravagance into a space where you are a few feet to a few inches from your audience allows for a much different experience. Both as an audience member and a performer.
My first experience as Riff was in 2008 at UW Manitowoc. And then again in 2018. My most recent production of Rocky Horror was in 2021 as Frank N. Furter, produced by Seven Ages Theatricals.
It is a genuine pleasure getting to sing the Time Warp. Even the third time around, I keep trying to think of new ways to evolve and express the character. I think you had better all, come inside. Or... at least breathe really heavy.

For those who join our story, welcome. Do remember: Actions Have Consequences.  Both characters I get to portray have their own journeys, albeit very different outcomes; yet, consequences follow each. It’s been a wild ride exploring both and exploring the unanswered questions each character brings – was it their destiny to arrive at the castle? Would one decision impact their endings? I implore you to ask these questions as you watch the performance – and note that it may take a second view to answer them all! Other journeys I have been honored to perform in include most recently the Inn’s production of Into the Woods (Granny/Cinderella’s Mother), Spring Awakening (Fanny Gabor), Company (Susan), and various ensemble roles in many musicals. Special thanks to husband Brandon and her family for always supporting her dreams. Speaking of dreams, don’t forget the tagline: Don’t Dream It – Be It…. oops. I mean…Actions Have Consequences.  Well…you decide.

Welcome to the chaos! So glad you are able to join us this evening. This is the second time I've taken the stage into Frankenstein Place, and I am so grateful to be doing the Time Warp once again with this lovely cast and crew. Sit back, (maybe don't) relax, and enjoy your stay with us!

Don’t Dream It, Be It, at the Forst Inns production of The Rocky Horror Show. This will be my first show with the Forst Inn, and I am excited! The show includes iconic lines, songs, and dances that I am thrilled to be a part of. I hope you enjoy it, because I know I want to go, to the late night, double feature, picture show.

Janet - Addison Fowler
The Rocky Horror Show — I’m wet! I am so excited to have the opportunity to play as Janet in this crazy fun, weird, one of a kind show. I had the opportunity to perform in a shadow cast of The Rocky Horror Picture Show a couple of years back, but this will be my first time performing in the stage show. This is also my first performance with The Forst Inn, and it has been an amazing! Rocky Horror is an incredibly unique experience when it comes to musical theatre, for both the cast and the audience, and I’m super stoked. While watching the show, remember to ride it out, adapt, and perhaps also survive! Enjoy!

Welcome all to the Forst Inn’s production of the Rocky Horror Show! This show is jam packed full of crazy songs, dance numbers, perfectly timed comedy, and one wild ride of a story. I’m beyond excited to be a part of the cast that will bring this show to life. Frank-n-Furter and his house of mayhem has had my heart for years, they don’t call it a cult classic for nothing! Now buckle in and bring the energy for the show of your life at the Forst Inn.

I am beyond excited  to be making my Forst Inn debut in The Rocky Horror Show! I know I am not alone in having loved this show for years, but it is truly a magical experience to be apart of it on stage  alongside all these amazing performers. The whole cast has been working to bring this show to life and we can’t wait until you head over to the Frankenstein place, to meet our Sweet Transvestite, and Time Warp with us...again…

Excited to share this is my first production through the Forst Inn. Rocky Horror has always had a place in my heart. It’s hard not to fall in love with the show, whether it be the fun, colorful, bold makeup and costumes, the whimsical energetic dancing and singing, or the comedic relief. I have grown to love every aspect of performing in Rocky Horror. Since our first rehearsal, I have felt so welcomed since the beginning. It’s a safe space to be vulnerable and authentic in. I would like to send out a huge thank you to my lovely cast members, it’s been such an amazing experience and pleasure sharing the space and performing with you all. A huge shoutout and thank you to directors Michael Sheeks and Lisa Heili, choreographer Katie Jo, music director Erin LaFond and to the committee of costuming, lighting, sound design, show ushers and of course to our amazing audiences; who have all contributed to make this show happen.  It is such an honor to bring Columbia to stage for you all. I relate to her character quite a lot. Maybe it’s her spunky, fun, energetic attitude and personality we both share. If you take something from this show, it’s to never get into random pick up trucks. Thank you and I hope you all enjoy the show!

I am beyond excited to be putting on such a fun, energetic , and telling story for this amazing Forst Inn audience. The entire process of this show has been nothing short of astounding. A huge thank you to Lisa , Michael, Erin, and Katie Jo for helping all of us bring this show to life. Sit back, yell out, and sing along. Be sure to double check ALL of your tires before leaving the Frankenstein Place tonight. Enjoy the show!

This show/film is my absolute favorite piece of musical art. With a loyal, passionate, and ever growing community of fans, Richard O’Brien and his beautiful creature have confidently stood the test of time. This genius work boasts nearly 50 long lasted years of impact and cultural significance.
Born out of love for iconic horror films/ B movie sci-fi classics, then meshed together with the bubblegum rock of the 50’s/ the burgeoning glam rock of the 70s, devoted audiences across decades have shown its worth and proven why this is such a massive cultural phenomenon.  The show speaks to speaks to representation. You feel like you’re a part of something bigger than yourself in a shared space of like minded people— a space of acceptance where you can be yourself. You share a love of horror, sci-fi, musical theater, drag, and all things camp.  All persons can coexist, let loose, and just have good time. Rocky Horror is a modern fairy tale that explores permissions to embrace individuality, sensuality, androgyny, and freedom of expression.  It is endlessly fun and my love for this show only grows as I’m privileged to be involved with such a killer cast and crew— we are no longer dreaming it, we are being it.

Hello! I am beyond excited to make my Forst Inn debut with the fantastic and delightful “The Rocky Horror Picture Show.” This is not only my first show at the Forst Inn, but also my first time engaging with the show. I had never seen a live production, nor have I seen the movie until two weeks before auditions — I was aware of the show and its legacy, but have never actually engaged with it. After I saw the movie, I realized all of that was a mistake because it was amazing! It’s an experience made all the better with a live, energetic audience that makes it all the more memorable, and I wanted to be part of that. Thank you, and I hope you enjoy the show as much I do.

If you came here looking for a casual night of relaxed theatre, you’re at the wrong show... you’re Over at the Frankenstein’s Place now! I am very excited to bring the character of Frank-N-Furter to life at The Forst Inn. This show has stretched all of my muscles, both creatively and physically. I want to thank directors Lisa Heili and Michael Sheeks for giving me this opportunity to bring this mad doctor to life; Frank is the queen of the castle and is not afraid to take center stage. Audiences, be ready to come up to the lab, see what’s on the slab, and shiver with antici……….pation with our fabulous cast out at the Forst Inn.

Greetings and welcome to the Frankenstein Place! I am super excited to to be a part of this astounding experience and extremely proud of the many people it took to make it all possible! Rocky is not my first experience out at the Forst, but it has been by far the most interesting one. I’d like to give a huge thanks to everyone at the Forst for continuing to create a safe space for all of us to be our most authentic selves! I would like, if I may to leave you with a few words of wisdom before your experience: the unfamiliar may seem frightening, but all you need to know the truth is to turn on the light. However, if your gut is telling you something is wrong…. maybe just stay in the car ;)

There's a light over at the Frankenstein Place..... will you join us? I am so excited to be a part of this show with this amazing cast and crew. I had the pleasure of being a part of a shadow cast a few years ago with my older daughter and this time around I get to share the stage with both of my daughters. Don't Dream it, Be it. I hope you enjoy your time here.
